My Approach

In our first few sessions together we will map out what brought you to therapy. We will create goals for our work together, and we will assess what it will take to get there.

After our first few sessions the meat of the work begins. We will start to discuss the blocks holding you back. Perhaps you want to make boundaries with the folks in your life so that you have more time for yourself, but you can't seem to speak up. Perhaps you would like to carve out a few hours each week to work on your new business, but you never seem to be able to find the time. Perhaps you're a parent who simply cannot fathom having the space in your life for actual self care, and you're so busy with work and the kids, that you can't seem to remember who you are.

Whatever the case may be, I will help you to uncover what is happening, as well as how you got to where you are now. 

​

You may feel afraid to look at the parts of yourself that you haven't in a long time, but I will be there with you every step of the way. I will hold a safe place for you to do the inner work that you need to do to accomplish the goals we set at the beginning of therapy.

 

Typically work with me takes 6-12 sessions depending on your goals, and when you're ready to go off on your own, I will cheering you on.
